Mariusz Frukacz, 24 klatki na sekundę – rozmowy o animacji (24 frames per second Discussions about animation)

An interview with me is one of the chapters of Mariusz Frukacz's book "24 Frames per Second, Discussions about Animation".

Here is an excerpt from the introduction by Marcin Giżycki: "24 Frames per Second, Discussions about Animation" consists of 21 interviews with animation film-makers born in the 70s and the 80s conducted by Mariusz Frukacz. Frukacz's interlocutors are: Tomasz Bagiński, Wojciech Bąkowski, Anna Błaszczyk, Małgorzata Bosek, Tomasz Głodek, Andrzej Gosieniecki, Joanna Jasińska-Koronkiewicz, Janek Koza, Tomasz Kozak, Norman Leto, Maciej Majewski, Marta Pajek, Anna Pankiewicz, Izabela Plucińska, Kamil Polak, Tomasz Siwiński, Robert Sowa, Wiola Sowa, Edyta Turczanik, Wojciech Wawszczyk and Olga Wroniewicz. According to the author, they constitute a representative group of their generation, which made their debuts at the beginning of the 21st century or at the end of the 1990s; the group that is now the asset of Polish animation, which celebrated its jubilee in 2008. The jubilee year prompted the author to raise questions about the condition of Polish animated film, the direction it is heading for and its future, but also about the sources of inspiration for the young film-makers and their approach towards the history of animation."
